Serzh Sargsyan on Political Change

The issue of political change has always been on our agenda, it is still present today, and the most correct and optimal way to achieve this is to express a lack of confidence in the government, in the prime minister, that is, through impeachment. This was stated by the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, during a conversation with reporters in the courthouse before his trial session.

"The Parliament is not only a place for speaking; it is also a place for listening. Those who have ears will hear, especially since in parliamentary hearings, mostly the people who speak are those who have the opportunity to address the National Assembly from the podium once, twice, or three times a year while not being a deputy. There is nothing there," he noted.

Regarding impeachment, he recalled the information that circulated online yesterday. "International experience, what happened in the world yesterday, two significant events in Nepal and France. The two ways to subject a government that does not enjoy the public's trust to impeachment, one method was that of Nepal, through violence and killings, the other was that of France, through Parliament. Now, what do we offer to our people," Sargsyan added.

Speaking about cooperation with the second president, he once again requested not to direct questions related to Robert Kocharyan towards him.
