I Have a Negative Attitude Toward My Colleague Arthur Hovhannisyan's Behavior: Batoyan

KP Party MP Zaruhie Batoyan expressed her discontent with the behavior of her teammate Arthur Hovhannisyan, who insulted opposition MP Taguhi Tovmasyan.

“I have dealt with my colleague separately regarding what he should be called. I disapprove of both of their statements. I regret that Mr. Hovhannisyan has fallen into the provocations of Ms. Tovmasyan. However, if we are talking about women's rights, discrimination against women, and the reproduction of gender-based stereotypes, I obviously consider such expressions unacceptable,” Batoyan stated.

It is reminded that opposition MP Taguhi Tovmasyan had requested Arthur Hovhannisyan to take a drug test in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the National Assembly, as his behavior raised suspicions.

In response to the “drug test,” Hovhannisyan demanded that opposition MP Tovmasyan take a “sexually transmitted infection test,” as she owns several apartments in Yerevan.
