UN to Fall into Oblivion: Velayati

The results of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in Tianjin clearly indicate that the UN, which is aligned with the West, will soon become obsolete, and the creation of a new multipolar world will begin. This statement was made by Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran on international affairs.

“The world has finally heard the sound of the ‘bones breaking’ of the United Nations, and we can practically announce the initiation of a process that will lead to its oblivion, similar to the League of Nations,” he emphasized in an interview with Tasnim agency, responding to a question about the outcomes of the SCO summit.

“The SCO and BRICS, which include China, Russia, Iran, South Africa, Brazil, and India, are simply inseparable from one another. The future world will have a different form and content, unlike the past,” he added, referring to Khamenei's advisor.
