Pashinyan's Airplane Flew Through Azerbaijani Airspace for Foreign Visit and Returned to Armenia: Baghdasaryan

In response to media inquiries, I inform you that the Prime Minister of Armenia’s airplane flew through Azerbaijani airspace for a foreign visit on August 30 and returned to Armenia on the night of September 6. This was stated by the Prime Minister’s spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

“On August 8 of this year, following the establishment of peace in Washington, the relevant bodies of Armenia requested air transit from Azerbaijan for the Prime Minister's aircraft and received a positive response. We consider this fact as a practical step towards unblocking communications in the region, advancing the peace agenda and creating an atmosphere of mutual trust.

Let me remind you that Azerbaijani aircraft have been using Armenian airspace for a long time to ensure communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” wrote Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
