Operations of 'Getamej' Poultry Facility Suspended

Inspectors from the State Food Safety Inspectorate conducted oversight at the poultry production facility owned by 'Getamej 2016' LLC (Kotayk region, village of Getamej) and took samples of frozen broiler chicken wings and whole frozen broiler chicken products, which were sent for laboratory examination. According to the SFSI, the research revealed that the whole frozen broiler chicken product (produced on 23.08.2025, with a shelf-life of 12 months) met the requirements set by the Eurasian Economic Union regulations, while the frozen broiler chicken wings product (produced on 25.08.2025, with a shelf-life of 6 months) exhibited discrepancies in pathogenic Salmonella indicators.

By the decision of the head of the inspection body, the production activities of the poultry facility have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for correcting the identified violations. The inspector has issued an order to the operator regarding the prohibition of marketing the batch, recalling it from the market, destruction, or disposal.
