Simonyan Meets with Families of the Missing: They Are Now in the National Assembly

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, has just met with the families of those missing, suggesting they enter the National Assembly for discussions inside. Simonyan promised to organize a meeting with Andranik Kocharyan. Currently, families of the missing have entered the parliament.

Andranik Kocharyan stated in an interview with Azatutyun: "They came to the National Assembly, I suggested that four people go up, they refused, and went on to block Baghramyan Avenue."

“We are not asking for anything material; we have come to be received and told what has been clarified by the commission he leads, who took our children and killed them,” said a relative of a missing soldier.

The families are demanding a meeting with Andranik Kocharyan, the head of the investigative commission regarding the 44-day war. The relatives of the missing continue to block Baghramyan Avenue.

It should be noted that Andranik Kocharyan responded to the protest as follows: "Let them wait patiently for the report of the investigative commission to be presented, rather than using the language of blackmail, trying to familiarize themselves with something to which they are not entitled."
