EU Representative Discusses Armenian-Azerbaijani Peace Process in Yerevan
The European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Magdalena Grono, expressed gratitude for the significant and substantive exchange of views during her meetings in Yerevan with Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, and other senior officials.
She noted on her X page, "The discussions focused on the peace process, centering on issues of cooperation, potential future cross-border collaboration, and the unblocking of the region for the benefit of peace, as well as on efforts in Washington for reconciling historical agreements."
Grono also visited the Tavush region, where she became familiar with security and humanitarian issues. She emphasized in her post that "the EU will continue to support Armenia and the region as a close partner, aimed at establishing peace and implementing concrete actions."
