Trump Plans to Speak with Putin Soon

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he intends to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin soon. “I will have a conversation with him shortly, and I will know what we will do,” he stated during a meeting at the White House with his Polish counterpart, Karol Nawrocki.

Trump emphasized that he has a good relationship with Putin but warned that if the pace of resolution regarding Ukraine is not satisfactory, he still has “second and third phase” measures planned.

It’s worth mentioning that Putin and Trump met at the Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, on August 15. They discussed avenues for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. Both leaders assessed the meeting positively.
