Turkey May Launch Military Operation in Syria

The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party of Turkey, Devlet Bahçeli, has stated that if the SDF/YPG fails to implement the agreement reached with Damascus, a joint military operation by Ankara and the Syrian government will become inevitable.

On March 10, Syrian authorities announced the signing of an agreement for the SDF's integration into the Syrian Democratic Forces' state institutions. Despite official statements expressing their willingness to uphold the agreements, the SDF has been sending mixed signals in practice.
