The Web of Criminal Cases Against Judges is Unraveling: 'Zhoghovurd'
Several judges of the Administrative Court have come under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies, and it is not ruled out that there may be new revelations and even arrests in the near future. This information is reported by 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper.
There are already detainees related to the searches conducted on August 29 in the offices of the Administrative Court judges. Specifically, two individuals have been arrested, one of whom is lawyer Armen Ohanyan. The investigative body has detained the intermediary and the accomplice who received the bribe.
Investigative actions concerning the judges are still ongoing, and according to our information, the case will have interesting developments. Earlier, it was revealed that law enforcement conducted searches in the offices of Administrative Court judges Argishti Ghazaryan, Mher Petrosyan, and Lusine Boyajyan.
According to the newspaper, Argishti Ghazaryan held the position of the president of the Administrative Court, called in the aforementioned judges, and instructed them to take action on certain cases. However, the judges were unaware during that time that Ghazaryan's office was being recorded by law enforcement.
Law enforcement's attention was drawn to the fact that the judges were involved in matters related to the registration or annulment of property rights to lands. Essentially, instead of administering justice, the court acted with bias in certain cases.
