HEC Reports Power Outage at Yerablur Due to Possible External Interference; Complaint Filed with Law Enforcement
Hours ago, HEC reported that the power disruption at the Yerablur pantheon was caused by damage to the overhead line supplying the area. "The power outage occurred early in the morning around 07:18, but the HEC management service was only informed at 10:12," the statement said.
It is noted that although the continuous power supply for the area is the responsibility of other bodies, as soon as the information was received, operational management services from the HEC Shengavit operational area, along with two brigades, began work in the Yerablur pantheon area. An electric laboratory and one brigade for line repairs are also working on site.
From the preliminary inspection of the damaged lines, it became evident that the outage could be due to possible external interference. A report has been submitted to law enforcement in relation to the incident. Currently, the power supply to the Yerablur pantheon has been fully restored," the statement adds.
It is worth recalling that a memorial complex called “The Call of Artsakh” has been opened in Yerablur. Arthur Vanetsyan, the head of the ‘Homeland’ party, had stated that the authorities attempted to obstruct the opening ceremony of the memorial. “The authorities said that Aliyev would go crazy. We were verbally informed not to come, not to hold the opening today. Later, they mentioned that they would use force, but perhaps they realized that such a step would be a great mistake on their part. They did a minor offense—they cut off the power and did not allow the installation of loudspeakers so that the family members of the deceased could express their words,” said Arthur Vanetsyan.
