Erdogan Confident Peace Will Soon Prevail in the South Caucasus
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed confidence that peace will soon be established in the South Caucasus, as reported by ‘TRT Global’. He made this statement upon returning from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in China.
“I believe that the South Caucasus will find the peace it has long sought,” said Erdogan. Earlier, the Turkish leader stated that achieving peace would open new opportunities for the region. In his view, all countries in the region, including Turkey, would benefit from it.
