Trade Volume Between Armenia and Vietnam Increases

Within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The two sides emphasized the importance of further expanding and deepening the friendly relations and political dialogue between Armenia and Vietnam.

They discussed the agenda for mutual visits and diplomatic interactions, as well as the activation of cooperation in trade and investments, and the promotion of business ties. The parties noted with satisfaction that bilateral trade volume has been increasing in recent years, but there remains significant potential for consistent growth.

In this regard, the active functioning of the intergovernmental commission for economic and scientific-technical cooperation between Armenia and Vietnam was highlighted, as well as the need for political consultations between foreign policy agencies.

The discussion also included mutual support on international platforms, enhancing connections in the tourism sector, and the possibilities for facilitating mutual visits.
