Gagik Jhangiryan's Powers Terminated

The powers of Gagik Jhangiryan as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council have been terminated. This was reported by the Supreme Judicial Council.

“Based on the resignation application submitted by Supreme Judicial Council member Gagik Vrej Jhangiryan on July 1, 2022, and guided by point 5 of part 1 of Article 86, part 2, point 1 of part 1 of Article 160 and part 2, point 17 of part 1 of Article 89, and part 1 of Article 94 of the Constitutional Law on the Court Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Supreme Judicial Council DECIDES: 1. To consider the powers of Gagik Vrej Jhangiryan as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council terminated as of July 4, 2022,” the decision states.
