The West Will Not Hinder the Formation of a New Force in the Form of the SCO - Pushkov

Western countries cannot prevent the formation of a new force and center of influence in the form of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), said Alexei Pushkov, a member of the Federation Council's Constitutional Committee.

“It can be confidently stated that the West is adamantly opposed to what is happening in Beijing. Trump wanted to dismantle BRICS and the SCO countries, but received the opposite effect. Europe also cannot prevent the formation of a new force and center of influence in the form of the SCO,” Pushkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

From August 31 to September 1, a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is taking place in Tianjin, China, and on Wednesday, the People's Republic of China will hold a military parade in Tiananmen Square, marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance and World War II.
