The U.S. is a Threat to Venezuela, President Says
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has labeled the actions of the United States as the greatest threat to his country in the past 100 years. He condemned the deployment of U.S. military forces to Central America under the guise of drug enforcement efforts.
Maduro asserted that Venezuela has been targeted by eight warships armed with 1,200 missiles, as well as a nuclear submarine. He stated, “This is the greatest threat we have faced in the past 100 years, which is baseless and immoral, and absolutely murderous and criminal.”
