Moscow and Baku Work to Improve Relations

The bilateral cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan is very important for both Russia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.

According to him, Moscow and Baku are currently working towards improving these relations. “We organized a meeting of the intergovernmental commission in the economic sector, during which we also emphasized that our cooperation between the two countries is developing,” said Overchuk.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia deteriorated after the crash of an AZAL airplane last December, followed by the arrests of indigenous people related to an ethnic group in Yekaterinburg and subsequent fatalities.
