Pashinyan on the Condition of Coronavirus Patients
Two individuals infected with coronavirus in Armenia are in serious condition. One of them is a citizen of the United States and is not of Armenian descent. The other infected individual is an Armenian citizen. Both are over the age of 75. This was reported today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
"Their hospitalization is not justified. Today, we had a discussion with Mr. Avinyan and Mr. Torosyan and decided that for mild cases, which are, in fact, the majority, we will try to work with hotels to accommodate them there, providing food and other necessities. We must continue this policy. This is also beneficial for the economy, as hotels are currently empty. Of course, there will be certain complexities; hotels will fear for their brand's future competitiveness, but hotels are obliged to disinfect their rooms from time to time. There can also be many cases where people with various illnesses are staying in those hotels. Nothing bad will happen to those rooms after the coronavirus, especially if they are disinfected afterward," said the Prime Minister.
