How Much Humanitarian Aid Has Armenia Received in the First Half of the Year
Armenia received $17,098,400 in humanitarian aid in the first half of this year, which is a 75 percent decrease compared to the same period last year. This information is supported by data published by the Statistical Committee.
From January to June, the largest portion of humanitarian aid sent to Armenia consisted of products from the chemical industry and related sectors, amounting to $9,534,400, followed by machinery, equipment, and mechanisms totaling $1,867,600. The third category included land, air, and water transport vehicles, with a volume of $1,467,300.
The United States provided the largest share of humanitarian aid to Armenia, with assistance totaling $4,564,400, accounting for 26.7 percent of the total. Furthermore, this figure represents an 11.1 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
In terms of the volume of humanitarian aid sent to Armenia, China ranked second with $2,528,500, making up 14.8 percent of the total, and showing an increase of 2.6 times compared to the previous year. Italy follows as the third country in aid volume, contributing $1,815,500, which represents 10.6 percent of the total, and has increased by 25.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
