EU Special Representative on Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations

The European Union will continue to play a close partner role in the full normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as in the development of transport and communication infrastructures. This was stated by the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Magdalena Gron, on her social media page.

"I am grateful to my Azerbaijani counterparts for the visit to Azerbaijan, where I led the EU delegation. I conveyed a message about the EU's readiness to strengthen support for all aspects of normalization, including the development of transport communications," she wrote.

Gron also noted that she visited Nakhichevan and familiarized herself with the local transport infrastructure for potential cooperation with the EU.
