Armenia National Team Begins Training Camp

The Armenia national team has commenced its training camp. Head coach Yegishe Melikyan's squad is preparing for the qualification matches of the 2026 World Cup in the European zone against Portugal and Ireland.

The first training session of the national team will take place today at 18:30.

Nayir Tiknizyan, Tigran Barseghyan, and Vahan Bichakhchyan will join the national team camp on September 2, while Lukas Zelarayan will arrive on September 3. Norberto Brizco Balekyan will not join the team due to family issues.

On September 6, the national team will host Portugal at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, with the match starting at 20:00 (Yerevan time). On September 9, the Armenian team will again host Ireland at the same venue, also kicking off at 20:00 (Yerevan time).
