There is No Clause Regarding Prisoners in the 'Peace' Agreement: Danielyan
Armenian National Assembly member Garnik Danielyan has stated: “Five years have passed since the 44-day war. Numerous parents, brothers, and sisters living beside us spend every day hoping for a miracle. It is our duty to always stand by them and direct our prayers towards the return of our compatriots. Parents have justifiably been outraged by the decision to refuse claims from international legal platforms. Many believed that these claims could create opportunities for the return of their loved ones.
It should also be noted that there is no clause or demand regarding prisoners or missing persons in the 'Peace' agreement. Frequently confronted with the indifference and inconsistency of the authorities, the relatives of the missing are forced to seek information through their own means. Meetings with the relevant authorities take place in an atmosphere of disappointment. In the National Assembly, several times, members of the ruling party have refused to meet with parents demanding meetings,” the statement reads. Danielyan emphasized that such treatment is unacceptable.
