Mirzoyan Meets with Pakistan's Foreign Minister
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has announced that Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has held a meeting with Mohamad Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the decision to establish diplomatic relations between Armenia and Pakistan and discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation.
Addressing regional developments, Ararat Mirzoyan presented Armenia's efforts toward establishing sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and emphasized that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In this regard, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar congratulated the Armenian Foreign Minister.
Minister Mirzoyan also touched upon other agreements reached on August 8 in Washington. The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Pakistan exchanged views on cooperation issues in multilateral platforms, including the UN and SCO.
