Changes in the Process of Obtaining Driver's License

Starting from September 1, changes are expected in the process of retaking driver's examinations. Citizens will have the opportunity to retake the driver's license examination the day after receiving a negative result for the first time, upon additional payment and online registration, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Prior to the change, if a citizen received a negative assessment in examinations, they could re-register only after a week. Considering citizens' requests and proposals, accelerated services are planned to be implemented.

If an individual receives a negative result for the first time, they can take the exam again the next day by paying 45,000 AMD, and on the third day for 30,000 AMD. If a person receives a negative result for the second or any subsequent time, instead of the previous 30-day period, they can use accelerated services with the following new deadlines: on the seventh day for 45,000 AMD and on the fourteenth day for 30,000 AMD.

It should also be noted that with another regulation, starting from September 1, it will be possible to receive the registration certificate for the state registration of a vehicle through postal delivery.
