Azerbaijani Territory Used for Israeli Drone Attacks, Iranian Official Claims

The Chairman of Iran's National Security Commission, Ebrahim Azizi, has stated that Azerbaijan's border has been used for the infiltration of Israeli drones into Iran.

"Border guards have firmly declared that Israel has utilized the Azerbaijani border to send drones into Iran. The President of Iran and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have raised this issue with Azerbaijani President Aliyev, who has requested documentary evidence. Whether we will provide documents or not is a separate question, but the fact itself cannot be denied. Our border guards have directly stated: 'We were there and saw with our own eyes how Israeli drones penetrated Iran from Azerbaijani territory,'" Azizi said.
