Larijani Welcomes Agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, met with Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, during a working visit to Tehran, reported the Armenian security council.
Both parties positively noted the institutional ties established between the security council offices and expressed confidence in the continued strengthening and development of these relations.
During the meeting, recent developments in the region were discussed. In this context, Grigoryan presented the agreements signed on August 8, stating that the process of unblocking the region's economic infrastructure will occur exclusively within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, inviolability of borders, and reciprocity.
Larijani welcomed the agreements aimed at establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of ensuring stability and security in the South Caucasus.
