Turkey Will Support Syria in Every Possible Way

Turkey will provide every possible support to the new authorities in Syria in the matter of protecting its territorial integrity. This was reported by TRT Haber, citing sources from the country's Ministry of Defense.

“Turkey will provide every possible support to the Syrian government in protecting its unity and territorial integrity,” the sources stated. They noted that stability in Syria is directly linked to Turkey’s security, and therefore every step taken in this direction contributes to ensuring peace in the region.

Ankara reminded of the agreement signed on August 13 between the military departments of both countries, under which Turkey will assist the new Syrian authorities in training the personnel of the governmental army, as well as in the supply of military equipment and weapons.
