No Soldier Is Dying at the Border: Opposition Is Unlucky, They Are Throwing Their Hands in the Air – Pashinyan
According to my assessment, peace has been established between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan as of August 8. The opposition was still in shock on the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th, and from the 13th, they began a full-scale attack against peace. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press briefing with journalists.
“How can we fail, how can we cause a new escalation, how can this happen? Our opposition is unlucky because no soldier is dying at the border, do you understand? No one is dying, and they are unhappy because of that. How can it be that no soldier is dying at the border? How should we live, whose blood should we drink to survive?” Pashinyan noted.
According to him, he sees it as his duty to protect the established peace. “The way to do that is to communicate as much as possible with the citizens of Armenia. I am not the author of this peace; the author of this peace is the citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have been under daily hybrid propaganda attacks since May 2018. But our people are more resilient than ever. I want to thank the people for this peace; they have earned it.”
“They are unlucky because the economy is not collapsing. Every day, exports, the economy, and financial wages are growing. Peace has been established, and we have entered the final phase of the complete political destruction of the political groups that previously seized power in Armenia, while they are throwing their hands in the air. In these briefings, I also clear the surface of the pond from their foam so that we can move forward,” the Prime Minister added.
