Ofelya
Following the recognition of Palestine as a state by the UN General Assembly, France is set to open an embassy in the West Bank. According to The Times of Israel, this announcement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron's advisor Ofer Broshtein.
He stated that there are also plans to establish a Palestinian embassy in France. The diplomat asserts that the establishment of a Palestinian state aligns with Israel's interests. “If there were a stable Palestinian state, the tragic events of October 7, 2023, would not have occurred,” the official added.
