Child Killed in Nighttime Shelling in Kyiv

In Kyiv, 38 people were injured as a result of shelling by the Russian Armed Forces during the night, with 30 of them hospitalized. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Three individuals were rescued from the rubble of a destroyed five-story building. Fragments of bodies have also been found. According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a complicated process of identifying the deceased awaits.

The president of Ukraine responded to the nighttime shelling. “At least 8 people have died in Kyiv, including one child,” said Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Russia prefers to continue killing rather than stop the war. This means that Russia is still not afraid of the consequences. We are waiting for China's response to what is happening. China has repeatedly called for the war not to expand and for the ceasefire to be established. This is not happening due to Russia. We await Hungary's response. The death of children, without a doubt, should elicit more emotions than anything else,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
