Iran Ready for War with Israel, Says Araqchi
The armed conflict with Israel could recur, but the Islamic Republic is prepared for any developments in the region. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
“Everything is possible, but we are ready for any circumstance. During the 12-day war, the Zionist organization and the United States did not achieve any of their objectives, while Iran heroically resisted and responded to aggression,” Araqchi noted in response to a question about the likelihood of renewed confrontation between Iran and Israel.
According to the minister, Israel unilaterally “requested an unconditional ceasefire” 12 days after the onset of attacks on Iranian territory. “If they want to repeat this scenario, we are prepared. However, the 12-day war proved that the military option has failed. Therefore, I doubt that they will resort to such measures again. But if it happens, they will face a similar, but harsher response,” Araqchi added.
It is noteworthy that Israel launched military operations against Iran on the night of June 13.
