Explosive Situation Within the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF)
The newspaper 'Iravunk' reports that discontent has begun to rise within the inner circles of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) regarding their own party leaders. More precisely, the discontent, which was already present due to the inactivity of the party's elite in the process of removing Nikol, could escalate dramatically in light of the state policy's trajectory towards an open brotherhood with the Turks and Azerbaijanis. It has reached a point where even the Artsakh movement is openly condemned, and now documents are being signed in Washington, yet there is no coherent response from the leadership of the ARF, not to mention any real efforts for resistance.
The dissatisfaction is especially pronounced in the regions where party members, distanced from the diverse manifestations of the capital and personal circumstances, are acutely aware of the current realities. A representative from one of the regional active structures of the ARF, confirming the circulating discussions in a private conversation, spoke with extreme anger about the current situation. Notably, despite having the largest number of opposition MPs in the National Assembly, the onus of primary responsibility lies mostly on the ARF, yet they seem oblivious to what they should be doing.
'Perhaps our American friends advised us not to do anything, as the 'Trump corridor' is being discussed, or maybe our local leaders are simply lacking initiative. Regardless, we are all extremely dissatisfied. We engage with the people, and all complaints are directed at us. Yet we cannot even comprehend the current state of affairs. If this continues, a lot may explode,' he concluded.
