Russia Calls for Restraint from Israel

Russia urges Israeli authorities to take immediate measures to prevent the further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. This is stated in a statement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The diplomatic agency noted the publication of new data on record levels of famine in Gaza, which indicate the highest levels of food insecurity. “The alarming assessments expressed by senior UN representatives regarding the situation in Gaza cannot shock us. The Russian side calls on the Israeli authorities to take immediate measures to prevent further deterioration in Gaza, to cease fire, to restore unhindered access for humanitarian assistance, and to ensure the provision of necessary humanitarian aid, including food supplies, to all those in need,” stated the Russian Foreign Ministry.
