It Is Too Early to Consider Peace Achievable in Ukraine, Says Czech President

The initiative by U.S. President Donald Trump in the negotiations regarding Ukraine is significant, but it is too early to consider that peace is already achievable in that country. This was stated by Czech President Petr Pavel while addressing the annual meeting of ambassadors of the Republic abroad.

According to President Pavel, Donald Trump’s initiative represents an important shift in negotiations related to Ukraine. At the same time, Pavel believes it is premature to think that peace is near in Ukraine.

Additionally, as noted by the Czech President, a coalition of authoritarian countries is gradually forming in the modern world, united by a shared interest in the weakening of the global order.
