US Extends Sanctions Against Iran for Another Year
President Biden has extended the US sanctions against Iran for another year. The US president has once again renewed the executive order originally signed by his distant predecessor Jimmy Carter back in 1979. In response to the seizure of American hostages in Tehran, the United States blocked all assets of the Iranian government and the Central Bank of Iran under its jurisdiction.
