Court Rejects Motion to Halt Criminal Prosecution Against Serzh Sargsyan

The court has rejected the motion to cease the criminal prosecution against Armenia's third President, Serzh Sargsyan.

The attorney had requested the termination of the criminal case concerning the Isakov land episode, citing illegal methods of evidence acquisition.

It is noteworthy that today, Serzh Sargsyan, in response to the peace agreement signed in Washington on August 8, stated that this document should not be called a peace agreement but rather be viewed as a narrative on how the capitulator satisfied the latest demands of Azerbaijan.
