Tehran Accuses Moscow of Betrayal

Russia has provided Israel with intelligence data during a 12-day war with Iran, stated Mohammad Sadri, a member of Iran's "Council of Political Expediency." This was reported by the Al Arabiya television channel.

“Russia has supplied Israel with information regarding the deployment of air defense systems in Iran,” Sadri’s words are quoted by Al Arabiya.

According to media reports, the council member also noted that the Iran-Israel 12-day war “showed that the strategic alliance with Moscow is useless.” Sadri emphasized that Russia has sold the S-400 system to NATO member Turkey, but has never sold such systems to Iran, with which it signed a strategic partnership agreement earlier this year.

Asriran reports that Sadri has called for maintaining relations with Russia but not to trust it.
