Strong Earthquake in Russia

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Kamchatka. This was reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center for Geophysical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The earthquake occurred 163 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on August 25 at 02:56 UTC (14:56 Kamchatka time). The epicenter of the underground tremors was located in the Pacific Ocean.
