Commander of the 'Black Panther' Detachment Serob Gasparyan's Arrest Conditions Changed

The arrest conditions of Serob Gasparyan, the commander of the 'Black Panther' detachment, have been replaced with home arrest. This information was reported by lawyer Roman Yeritsyan.

“The petition of defense lawyer Alexander Kochubaev was finally granted. The decision made by Judge Gagik Harutyunyan can be considered an exemplary manifestation of justice,” Yeritsyan wrote on his Facebook page.

It is worth recalling that in September 2024, it became known that criminal proceedings had been initiated against seven individuals for preparing to seize power in Armenia, four of whom were placed on the wanted list, and three were detained. Later it was revealed that one of the detainees was Serob Gasparyan, the commander of the 'Black Panther' detachment.

Gasparyan's defense team announced on August 13 that he suffers from life-threatening illnesses that are not compatible with detention. The defense team demanded to organize an independent, multidisciplinary medical examination at a civilian specialized center with a complete diagnosis and a clear treatment plan.
