Lavrov: I Hope Attempts by Western Countries to Intervene in the Process Will Be Foiled
Russia hopes that attempts by Western countries to intervene in the Ukrainian settlement process will be foiled, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"They are simply looking for a pretext to obstruct negotiations, and they want this to happen without taking responsibility for it, neither for themselves nor for Ukraine's Vladimir Zelensky, who is also stubborn and is pushing certain conditions by demanding an immediate meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, regardless of everything. This is an attempt to disrupt the process established by Presidents Putin and Trump, which has yielded very good results. We hope that these attempts will be foiled," Lavrov stated in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
