Macron Knows He Is Lying: Armen Ashotyan

The statement by the President of France claiming that "eight years ago no one would come to Armenia" is a fresh and typical example of hypocrisy. This was stated by Armen Ashotyan on his Facebook page.

"Macron knows he is lying, just like in his own country, where all recent presidents have always been in Armenia—be it Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy, or François Hollande. But he is ready to mislead everyone in front of the world for the sake of Nikol. France, our friendly nation, and its friendly people certainly do not deserve such treatment," he wrote.

It is worth recalling that French President Emmanuel Macron stated that eight years ago, no one was coming here, and the fact that we have so many first visits to Armenia is indeed a good indicator.
