Israel's Aggression Extends Beyond Gaza, Says Araqchi

In Jeddah, ahead of an extraordinary ministerial meeting of the OIC, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has characterized the ambitions of 'Greater Israel' as a serious threat to regional security and global peace, calling for decisive actions to halt genocide and occupation.

In an article published in an Arab newspaper, Iran's foreign minister warned about the existential threat posed to the Islamic world and international peace by the so-called ambitions of the Zionist regime's 'Greater Israel'. He described Israel's actions in Gaza as premeditated and organized genocide, involving mass killings of women and children, forced displacement, famine, and destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Araqchi emphasized that this is not a temporary military clash or a normal humanitarian crisis, but a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing being executed under the silence and inaction of Western powers, particularly the United States.

He also highlighted that Israel's aggression extends beyond Gaza, referencing the expansion of settlements in the West Bank, attacks on Lebanon and Syria, interference in Yemen's affairs, and recent military operations in Iran, which he noted have killed over a thousand Iranians.
