Ukraine's First Draft of Security Guarantees May Be Presented Early Next Week - Kyslytsia
The first draft of Ukraine's security guarantees may be presented early next week. This was announced today by the country’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsia.
It is noted that the document should pave the way for potential negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. At the same time, the level of defense in Kyiv largely remains uncertain, and the development of details will require prolonged and complex consultations, reports Gazeta.ru.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky if all issues requiring discussion at the highest level are well prepared. The President of Ukraine has announced his intention to obtain security guarantees for Kyiv, following the example of the guarantees provided by the United States to Israel.
