If You Are Renting Out Your Property, Here's What You Need to Do: A Statement from the State Revenue Committee

The State Revenue Committee reminds landlords that if the property they are renting has not been officially registered, they must submit a declaration to the Tax Authority and an annual income tax return, as well as pay 10% income tax to the state budget. This information has been provided by the SRC.

The declaration can be submitted electronically via the www.e-request.am platform or in person at any service hall of the Tax Authority. The income tax return can be submitted through the SRC's unified electronic services system for individuals.

Income tax from rental payments can be paid to the state budget both in cash and non-cash methods. Non-cash payments can be made in the SRC's unified electronic services system where you submitted your declaration, by selecting the “payments” section. Cash payments can also be made through payment terminals. For cash payments, you must visit any bank and transfer the income tax amount to the state treasury’s unified account 900008000490. It is important to remember that when making a payment at the bank, your taxpayer identification number (TIN) must be filled in the appropriate field for TIN, not in the purpose field.

Additionally, if you have received income from the rental of real estate in 2024, you must submit the income tax return and pay the income tax to the state budget by November 1, 2025, inclusive.
