Zelensky on Meeting with Russian Side in Moscow

We want to coordinate our actions with the United States regarding negotiations with the Russians. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“And I would like Europe to be present as well. The negotiations should take place in a neutral part of Europe,” Zelensky said.

During a meeting with journalists, the Ukrainian president announced that Marco Rubio, Wittkoff, and Jay D. Vance would be included in the coordinating group preparing the U.S. meeting with the Russians.

Zelensky reminded that during negotiations in the United States, security guarantees similar to NATO's 'Article 5' were proposed, but now it is important to understand what each country should do in such a case.

Zelensky noted that Ukraine is not opposed to meetings with the Russians, for example, in Switzerland, Austria, or Turkey, but definitely not in Moscow.

“As for Budapest, this is a controversial and difficult issue, as Budapest has been against supporting Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.
