Pashinyan on the Tripartite Declaration Signed in Washington

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has commented on the tripartite declaration signed on August 8 in Washington.

"I want to congratulate everyone on the occasion of the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which resulted from the declaration signed in Washington on August 8," he stated. According to him, prior to traveling to Washington, a series of discussions were held, and analyses of the text were conducted with the participation of the government, expanded sessions of the Security Council, the president, parliament members, and regional governors.

"We have come to the conclusion that we must take this step. I want to thank all of you for the work done and the support provided. I must emphasize that this does not conclude our work but rather marks the beginning," he said.

The Prime Minister is confident that this step will lead to a new agenda for development, and the content of our work here should be more substantial.
