Footage Emerges of Trump Discussing Armenians Held Captive in Baku
Footage has surfaced online showing U.S. President Donald Trump discussing 23 Armenians held captive in Baku. He declares that he will ask Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to release them, adding, "I believe he will do it for me." The remarks clearly pertain to the Armenians in Baku. This seems to be a continuation of the conversation initiated by Prime Minister Pashinyan. Ruben Vardanyan's lawyer, Jared Genser, has called this moment "a significant step forward."
