Israeli Forces Enter Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have launched an assault on Gaza, specifically targeting the largest city in the strip, as reported by The Jerusalem Post citing IDF representative General Efi Defrin. “Our troops already control the outskirts of the city,” the military official stated. He clarified that this marks the first phase of an operation previously approved by the country’s defense ministry. He added that the military plans to intensify strikes against the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza City in the near future.

To minimize civilian harm, the IDF will warn local residents about the need for evacuation. “We continue to provide humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip and are even expanding it by opening additional aid distribution points,” Defrin noted.
