Artak Tonoyan Has Left His Position According to His Resignation, MoD Spokesperson

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Aram Torosyan, has confirmed that Major General Artak Tonoyan has submitted his resignation from the position of advisor to the Minister of Defense.

"I confirm that Major General Artak Tonoyan has been discharged from the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia according to his resignation, in connection with transitioning to military pension after long years of service," he stated in an interview with 24News.

It is noteworthy that yesterday media outlets reported on the detention of Artak Tonoyan's son in connection with a deadly incident near a bridge by the house of a criminal authority known as 'Chagh Rustam' in the village of Proshyan.
