Masoud Pezeshkian on the Route to be Built in Armenia
During his upcoming visit to Armenia, we will discuss the North-South corridor, and as for the East-West route, it will also naturally become a convenient platform for the development of trade routes in this direction. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, according to Tasnim.
“The existing concern is related to the presence of American companies in the region. The fears are based on the fact that these companies usually present themselves as ordinary companies but may later engage in different activities. We will have discussions about the existing concerns and anxieties,” he noted.
According to Mehr news agency, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran and Armenia have historical and strategic relations and have always cooperated. “During this visit, we will discuss strengthening economic and cultural cooperation, which will contribute to joint development. There are concerns regarding the regional presence of American companies, which will also be included in the agenda for this visit. Important cooperation documents have been prepared in the fields of technology-engineering, construction, mining, art, and tourism, which will be signed. These relations will undoubtedly continue to expand in the future,” he added.
